Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using BizContact (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BizContact. The Service is intended for use by business professionals aged 18 and older.

2. Description of Service

BizContact is a business contact management platform that provides:

  • Contact storage, organization, and tagging
  • Business card scanning via OCR technology
  • CSV import/export functionality
  • Email outreach via Gmail integration
  • Email tracking (open and click rates)
  • Big Data lead search (Pro plan)
  • AI contact enrichment (Pro plan)

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, complete information when creating your account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
  • One account per individual; sharing accounts is prohibited

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk emails (spam) or violate anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other individuals
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service by automated means
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the Service's source code
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

5. Subscription & Payment

5.1 Plans

BizContact offers subscription plans (Basic and Pro) with different feature sets and contact limits. Current pricing is available on our Pricing page.

5.2 Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
  • All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
  • Payment is processed securely via our payment partner
  • Add-on contact packs are one-time purchases

5.3 Cancellation & Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds for partial billing periods
  • Add-on purchases are non-refundable once contacts are used

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, content, logos, and trademarks, is owned by BizContact and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service, including contacts, notes, and email templates.

7. Data and Privacy

Our use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Gmail Integration

  • BizContact sends emails through your Gmail account via Google OAuth
  • You are responsible for compliance with Gmail's terms of service and sending limits
  • We do not read, store, or analyze your Gmail inbox
  • You may disconnect Gmail integration at any time from your profile settings

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • AI Enrichment data will be 100% accurate or complete
  • Big Data search results will include every available contact
  • OCR business card scanning will be 100% accurate

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BizContact shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Your account is used for fraudulent or illegal activities
  • You fail to pay applicable subscription fees

Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Singapore.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
